HI I'M JASMINE

A little about me...

I was born and raised in Virginia and grew up in a small town. I spent most of my childhood outdoors either in the garden with my grandma or playing with friends. I love my family, books and good wine!

I married my best friend Grayson in 2022 and together we have a little girl and two dogs who keep me on my toes! I consider myself and old soul and really love making other people happy. I laugh a little too loud and love to joke around. I think life's too short to be too serious all the time. When I get a cool idea in my mind I can be a little squirley because I get excited! This could look like me seeing a pretty spot and redirecting us to that location mid sentence.

I have been shooting couples since 2018 and have been almost exclusively couples and weddings since 2024 after being laid off from my corporate job. It ended up being the biggest blessing because it gave me the kick to really get my business going full time. I love a vibrant earthy toned edit and love chateau style weddings or mountain elopements. I truly care about my work and about my couples and really put my whole heart into my work.

When you book with me you aren't just booking a photographer, you are booking your biggest hype girl, someone who will fluff your dress, cry when you say your vows, and will get the dance floor up and moving even though I can't really dance! I want you to have the absolute best time at your wedding while also getting a gallery that really portrays all the best parts of the day and your love! You'll walk away with a beautiful gallery AND a friend for life!

I got married in 2022 to my husband Grayson and while I loved the photos we got back, I remember the day feeling like a big production instead of us just enjoying the day. my goal is to get the wall worthy portraits out of the way quickly so you can enjoy the company of everyone you love who gathered to celebrate you and your new spouse.

With that being said, I also believe you should be able to have both styles of images in your gallery. Everyone loves the candid photos now, but lets be honest, your great grandmother won't be around forever and when you go back looking at photos, you are going to want one of her looking at the camera and smiling. I want you to have both AND I BELIEVE YOU DESERVE TO HAVE BOTH. WEDDING IMAGES WILL BE THE ONLY TANGIBLE THING YOU KEEP FROM THE DAY AND THATS WHY I TAKE MY JOB SO SERIOUSLY.

I INCLUDE A FREE ENGAGEMENT SESSION WITH EACH WEDDING COLLECTION WHICH IS REALLY IMPORTANT FOR ME TO SEE HOW WE WORK TOGETHER AND TO BECOME COMFORTABLE IN FRONT OF THE CAMERA. THIS IS A GREAT TIME TO EXPERIMENT WITH POSING AND DIFFERENT ANGLES SO WHEN THE DAY COMES I ALREADY KNOW WHAT WE NEED TO DO TO GIVE YOU IMAGES YOU LOOK YOUR BEST IN!

I AM SOMEONE WHO USES LAUGHTER TO COPE WITH AWKWARD SITUATIONS AND I FIND THAT THIS ACTUALLY BENEFITS ME BECAUSE I CAN GET A LAUGH OUT OF PRETTY MUCH ANYONE! THIS CREATES A RELAXED SPACE WHERE YOU CAN COME AS YOU ARE AND BE YOUR MOST AUTHENTIC SELF.

A LITTLE MORE ABOUT ME...

I AM A VERY CREATIVE HANDS ON PERSON SO IVE ADOPTED A LOT OF HOBBIES OVER THE YEARS. A FEW OF MY FAVORITES ARE HAND EMBROIDERY, GUITAR AND PIANO, AND BAKING.

MY MUSIC TASTE IS ALL OVER THE PLACE! RIGHT NOW I REALLY LOVE HEAVY METAL (FALLING IN REVERSE, SLEEP TOKEN, THREE DAYS GRACE, ECT...) AND COUNTRY MUSIC.

I AM A FULL TIME PHLEBOTOMIST AND WORK IN A HOSPITAL LAB DRAWING BLOOD M-F AND REALLY LOVE PATIENT CARE. IVE ALWAYS SAID THAT I FIND JOY IN HELPING OTHERS AND I USED TO VOLUNTEER AT MY LOCAL FIRE DEPARTMENT IN MY EARLY 20'S.

IF YOU HADN'T ALREADY GUESSED IT, I REALLY LOVE BOOKS! I THOUGHT THIS WOULD BE A GREAT ADDITION TO MY LOGO AND BRAND BECAUSE REALLY PHOTOGRAPHY IS VISUAL STORYTELLING. I MIGHT NOT WRITE CHAPTERS WITH WORDS BUT I CERTAINLY DO IT WITH IMAGES THAT MAKE YOU FEEL SOMETHING. THATS WHY I LOVE THIS JOB. I GET TO PICK MOMENTS THAT MIGHT HAVE GONE OVERLOOKED AND PUT IT INTO AN ALBUM WHERE YOU GET TO SEE SO MANY VIEWPOINTS OF YOUR WEDDING DAY. I THINK THATS PRETTY COOL!
